Sa Zoo..

A Samoan visiting Auckland Zoo asks the Keeper what the cage around the animals were for.

Zoo Keeper: "They're there so we can protect the people from the wild and dangerous animals."

The Samoan started laughing to pieces. Both puzzled and annoyed, the Zoo Keeper asked why.

Samoan: "Oh, sorry, it's just in Samoa, they put cages around the animals to protect them from the people."

Sino ba naman inde matatakot sa mga ito, eh ang lalaking mga mama nito. Pati mga babae nila para kang kakainin ng buhay. Pero wag kayo maintimidate, kasi despite their size eh gentle and friendly naman sila. They're the my second fave Pacific Island people, next to Nuiens.

I grabbed that joke pala from the Laughing Samoans' Crack Me Off show I did tonight at the ASB Theatre. Ang cu-cute nila, lalo na yung mataba. They reminded me of The Reycards Duet.




Speaking off the Zoo, Kiwi Pinay took me along their company's Christmas party at the Auckland Zoo. Ala eh, libre na pasyal, libre pa pagkain (yahu).
